At 12-15 feet wide, and the view from end to end, is not depressing, or claustrophobic, it is more like walking down a city street.

MY EXPERIENCE

My house is 45×60 rectangle on a ¼ acre city lot

It started out as a 30 x 45 house.

My house is mostly adjacent rooms, eliminating square feet for a hall.

I lined up doors from front to back, so the walk is a perfect straight line…but not a hall.  The walking space is taken from the foot of the bed, a closet, the path in front of 2 sinks of a J&J bathroom.
