Ever notice, when you go shopping for a dishwasher, they are raised about a foot off the ground? Nice.  It load and unloads so easily.  I’ll buy that one.

Then when you get home, the poor thing is dropped right on the floor… WTF? 

An interesting side benefit is the extra 9-12 inch to a foot higher creates a no-splash zone right by your sink… Clean things…food up there, does not get splash water up there.  Counters at sink level, just have a halo of splash water everytime you do anything…
