I like the idea of a safe place too….if there is an intruder, is there a place you could hide? It only as to be 4’x10 feet but way better than dealing with guns etc…or being defensive… add a phone in there, call the cops and relax.

Some people put there valuables in here.. fine. 

Other types of bidden places, are inside a window seat.

space in an attic….play with it, it is just a fun thing to think about….again…it would cost nothing, but adds to the house.
